This section describes the necessary changes developers have to do in order to migrate the BankID installation from one environment to another. The two environments are pre-production and production.

BankID server

During the authentication and signing process, the BankID server use the merchant certificates and keys to produce signatures. For more information see [ICSRV] or [IJSRV].

Banklagret clients

Normally the version number of the Banklagret client will increase for each of these environments. Version 2.3 will then have numbering: 2.3.2.0 – 2.3.3.0. The third digit indicates environment (2 for pre-production and 3 for production).
